Gabriel has really changed just in this last week; he is making eye contact more and seems to really be taking in his surroundings. He rolls around...a lot :). We've been pleased to see increased awake time after he eats and right when we wakes up, including a few smiles even. He can hold his head up like a champ just over the past few days, which makes burping time a little more challenging. He has started to coo more and "talk" to us, and appears to still be packing on the ounces. We have another doctor's appointment this Wednesday, so we'll see where he weighs in. We think he is getting closer to figuring out his arms and legs are indeed controlled by him; it's quite amusing to watch his amazement when he really gets all appendages swinging! So here we are at the close of week 5...enjoy the pics!
