My parents came up to the city last week to visit. We have some friends that live just two blocks away that were going on vacation and needed someone to house/dog sit so it worked out perfect. We enjoyed having them visit, especially when Andy and I got to go out on a date or just to run errands...or literally to run :). We also packed as many activities into our schedule as we could with Gabriel including: playtime at Hippo Park, the Bronx Zoo (bigger and better than "our" Central Park zoo, the largest Urban zoo in the US in fact), a movie lunch date for Andy and me, a wedding of our good friends (sans Gabriel!), Sunday brunch, outlet shopping for some Fall clothes, another visit to Central Park zoo, and plenty of playtime in the park. Here are the highlights:
