Gabriel is two months old today...hard to believe. He continues to be such a joy and mystery at the same time. We are still so amazed at how quickly he changes from week to week. He has his two month well appointment Monday, so we'll get an update on his length and weight...and unfortunately will have to witness his first round of shots :(. Two Month pics below...
Lately Gabriel is playing more with the aforementioned suspended finger puppets, is getting really good at following objects and holding eye contact, and even discovered he has hair this past week. He reaches up and grabs clumps of it. He continues to smile and even giggle a bit, and is (thankfully) great at sleeping through the night. He has also had a round of IBS (Irritable Baby Syndrome as Andy calls it), but we think that can be attributed mostly to some pesky trapped gas. He went a little horse earlier this week because he was screaming so much from it; so that was fun. He's also added blowing bubbles and sticking his tongue out to his playtime repertoire. We are really looking forward to more and more of his happy playtime as the months roll by. I guess it is a trade off - you miss them being so little, but you get to actually interact with them as they grow and develop. It is so neat to see him progress before our eyes. What a blessing.
