This year was a typical NYC Thanksgiving for us ... balloon viewing the day before (so crowded this year that we had to wait in line to be herded through police barriers, shoulder to shoulder around the perimeter of the museum, and Andy and I carrying the boys on our shoulders, plus it was freezing), Krispy Kreme donuts before heading out to the parade (we found a new viewing spot this year on 53rd St between 5th and 6th Ave, which is a big deal because often crowds can be 20 people deep!), a late Thanksgiving lunch with Aunt Steph, and some time spent out along the Riverside promenade playing (which is gorgeous in Fall).
After nearly a decade in the city, I still always love to look up!

Toothless! From how to tame your dragon...
Look at Andy's face, doesn't the grimace say we're having fun, haha!
