One Week

Happy One Week to our Judah Bear! Judah is a thriving newborn who acts like a 2-4 week old already :). He was discharged from the hospital on Saturday at 7 lbs. 15 oz, was 8 lbs. 1 oz on Monday for his 2 day check-up and is 8 lbs. 5 oz. today at a follow-up appointment!! He already sleeps for 4-5 hour stretches between feedings and only gets his days and nights mixed up about every other day (read: mommy and daddy get sleep every other night...which is pretty good for a one week old!).

My recovery has been more painful and slow than it was with Gabriel, so that has been difficult to deal with, but Gabriel is still doing well with Judah and we have family in town to help with the heavy lifting (literally). 

Now, we look forward to our first Thanksgiving together. Our plan is for a very low-key day with a few Thanksgiving traditions, but mostly a lot of relaxing!!
