All of that laying low and precaution, and here I have arrived at 38 weeks (humph!). Well I suppose that the outcome indeed could have been different if I had not taken it easy, I get that. Perhaps it's the extreme discomfort and total lack of a good night's rest that accompany this stage of pregnancy that has me a bit cranky. As of my latest doctor's appointment I am 2cm dilated and 20% effaced, I am still having the contractions, which are slightly more intense, but I wouldn't say that labor is impending. So, we wait.
