If you think Spring Break once you're an adult is an less exciting than when you're a kid, you'd be wrong...my guess is anyone who grew up and became a teacher knows this is true. Teachers live for Spring Break too! Andy was on break for a week and a half this year and we did our best to pack in as many activities as possible. Although the weather was less than cooperative for most of the week, we didn't let that impede our progress making it through the Goodwin Spring Break Activity List :)
Included in our week was: attending the new dinosaur exhibit at the natural history museum, visiting the central park zoo, accomplishing a few projects around the apartment, walking my 4M race together in the pouring rain (ps-I am not able to run right now so we walked 1 mile to the start line, walked the 4 mile race and walked the 1 mile back home, all in the pouring rain), an Easter picnic in the park, fun in the park with sidewalk chalk and bubbles, visiting the Bronx zoo, going out to dinner for my birthday, taking a trip to the NY aquarium, and eating a corndog on the boardwalk at Coney Island. Whew.
I don't have a whole lot of pictures, which just tells me we spent more time enjoying our time off than making sure we documented the whole thing...enjoy what we did manage to capture:
