Every year New York holds fleet week where the armed services come into port, and they have all kinds of activities, parades, shows, and exhibitions. The fly overs are incredible, and so powerful they scared the boys a little bit. You can hear and feel the planes way before you see them, and your whole body shakes it's so loud. They had an aircraft carrier docked by the Intrepid museum where we were able to tour around the ship, see a variety of aircraft and other military vehicles from the inside, etc. The boys were in heaven. Especially Gabriel because he wants to be a jet flier when he grows up ;)
