Arthur Ashe Kids Day

AAKD is a tennis event held before the US Open every year, which is right here in Queens. This is our first year, and while it was really crowded it did not disappoint. Gabriel was hesitant to participate at first, but once he made it through one round of activities he was excited to do more and learn more about tennis. Judah, well, he preferred the sidelines. He almost went out onto a court activity with Gabriel, but bailed at the last second (even with the promise of ice cream). We closed out the afternoon by going to see some of the preliminary matches, which we all really enjoyed. Maybe one day we will be able to attend a match at the US Open, but if not at least we can experience some of it through AAKD :)
