We celebrated St. Patty's Day this year by taking the boys over to the NYC 251st (!) St. Patrick's Day Parade up Fifth Avenue. It was a gorgeous day (shorts weather, even), so we could not pass up the opportunity to get outdoors. It was super crowded, so we only stayed at the parade for about 15 minutes, and even that was from afar as we could not get up to Fifth Ave. Gabriel spotted a playground, so we opted to go play instead ... but we could still hear the bag pipes and marching bands reverberating through the park.

After a full morning/afternoon in the park, we headed home for nap time ... for dinner, we had green pizza in honor of St. Pat (ricotta cheese died green and arugula), yum! Gabriel enjoyed making the pizza, and eating it too! Andy and I enjoyed an Irish libation as well :). After dinner, we headed out to the park again for some more play time (three outings in one day for me is a record post-Judah, I believe).
Overall, a great family day!
