We celebrated Andy's birthday by going to a burger joint in Le Parker Meridian Hotel (sidebar: established in 2002 in the lobby of the the Le Parker Meridian Hotel as a cheaper option for a burger than room service, this locals only joint is completely obscured from view upon entering the hotel lobby and can only be found by those who know to "look behind the brown curtain" ... it's a cash only, hole in the wall type place with writing all over the walls from decades of locals seeking a great burger).
Anyway, Andy has been wanting to eat at this place for years and we've never made it, so this year I thought we'd check it off our list. Aunt Steph was in town, so she joined us in the celebration. After dinner, we headed home for some homemade oreo ice cream cake, yum!
Happy, happy birthday to pretty much the greatest guy ever.
